KEEPS GETTING BETTER: Adidas Gazelle Indoor

The “Gazzelle” were my first pair of Adidas and, sure as hell, they’re still my favourite.

The first pair I had were in brown suede, with the traditional three bands in lighter brown, and white sole. 

Considering it was about ten years ago, I’m talking about the original Gazzelle cut – bold, solid, with the round tip.

Since then the Gazzelle has been reinvented in many ways, in new combinations of colors at best, or in tragic crossovers of writings and under-colored soles, at worst. 

I thought “Wtf, just let them go! They’re already as good as it gets!”

Probably Adidas designers were all in a rehab in the last few years, cause now something happened to the Gazzelle and guess what, is a good thing!

The new edition of the Gazzelle, the Gazzelle Indoor, is part of an “Iconic pack” reissued by Adidas, which includes a new edition of Kopenaghen and Handball Five Plug.

This new Indoor version is lighter from the original, almost 25% more, and has an addiction of a vulcanized semi transparent plastic sole, in a nice “vintage” yellow that was really love at first sight for me.I bought the Gazzelle Indoor in the Adidas Store of Milano (Corso di Porta Ticinese, 60) but they will be available soon in all the Adidas Store.
I already saw the new edition of Kopenaghen and Handball in some of the greatest stores here in Italy.

This means that sooner or later I’ll be forced to see disgusting figures wearing my favourite shoes. I’m having nightmares of Gazzelle Indoor with propped on jeans …

This is an old story.An advice: don’t think about how mainstream it could be now to buy these new edition of Adidas, just do it - sorry, Nike!

In a few months you’ll still love your pair of Adidas, while the rest of the world will forget it.

For them, is just fashion. For you, it’s your (life) style.
